I do not think that it is an Invasion of Privacy for an employer to use social media in employment considerations. This is because it is important for an employer to be careful/aware of the background of a particular candidate to consider that particular candidate to become a future employee in the employer’s organization. Moreover, the employer can get to know about the hobbies/likes/dislikes of the aspiring candidates. This is extremely important for an employer as an employer can think about putting a candidate in a suitable position according to the individual’s likes/dislikes/preferences (Powers, 2017).
